The event celebrates the maiden voyage from London to Glasgow of the West Coast Partnership service, following the award of the railway franchise (period 2019-2031) to the joint venture between Trenitalia UK and First Group.

The event, taking place at Glasgow Grand Central Hotel, represents a very important occasion for the FS Group and the Scottish Office of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the UK to celebrate such a significant accomplishment for the Italian company.
