The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK is glad to invite you to attend its next online event “Energy and Sustainability: Challenges and Opportunities towards Net-Zero”, organised in collaboration with the Italian Consulate General and the Italian Institute of Culture in Edinburgh, along with the University of Glasgow. The main objective of the event is to discuss the ongoing energy transition from conventional fossil fuels to clean energy from a Scottish and an Italian perspective ahead of COP26, which will take place in Glasgow under the UK Presidency in partnership with Italy.

As our speakers, we are glad to have our members Eni UK, represented by its Managing Director Nicolo' Aggogeri, and ERG Group, represented by its Chief Public Affairs & Regulatory Officer Luca Bragoli. In addition, we will also have Eliano Russo, responsible for Global e-Industries of Enel Energia, and David Pearson, Group Sustainable Development Director for Star Refrigeration Ltd and Director for Star Renewable Energy. 

The webinar will be chaired by Gioia Falcone, Rankine Chair & Professor of Energy Engineering at the University of Glasgow, with an introduction by Chiara Avanzato, Director of the Italian Insitute of Culture in Edinburgh, and Davide Bargna, Policy Adviser and Head of Scotland Office at the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK.
