The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK is currently working along with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Assocamerestero on the project “True Italian Taste”.

The project aims to combat the diffusion of the Italian Sounding phenomenon in specific European countries – including the UK – and encourage the export of Italian food through the conscious consumption of authentic Made in Italy products.

Under this initiative and in collaboration with PromoFirenze, we offer the exclusive opportunity to four UK food buyers to attend BuyFood Toscana, an online B2B event promoted by the Tuscany Region and the Florence Chamber of Commerce. During the event, the participating buyers will meet Tuscan producers of PDO/PGI products such as EVO oil, cured meats, cheese, bakery products, and much more.

The event will take place from Monday 28th September to Friday 2nd October 2020.

*Priority will be given to those buyers who registered in February: the project should have taken place in April in Siena, but was later postponed and turned into an online event because of the pandemic.
