We are delighted to invite you to “History of Italian Cuisine”, an event organised by Accademia Italiana della Cucina with the patronage of the ICCIUK and the Consulate General of Italy.

The event will take place on 15th November 2023 at the Macellaio restaurant in Soho, and is organised as part of the “Week of Italian Cuisine in the World”.

This special evening will be an exploration of Italy’s rich culinary heritage, featuring the presentation of the comic book “History of Italian cuisine in comics – From Etruscan tagliatelle to tiramisu”.

A conversation with Maurizio Fazzari, VP of Accademia Italiana della Cucina and delegate of the London delegation, and Roberto Costa, CEO RC Group
Presentation of the comic book

The 8th edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World will take place from 13th to 19th November 2023. The initiative – whose theme this year is “wellbeing and taste” – is aimed at promoting Italian culinary tradition and knowledge as a distinctive trait of the Italian identity and culture.

The events organised within this week are promoted by the network of Embassies, Consulates, Italian Cultural Institutes, ITA Agencies, and Chambers of Commerce.
