The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK is partnering with the Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce in a mission to facilitate commercial connections and trade links for Scottish businesses interested in entering the Italian market.
International exports to Italy account for 2.6% of Scotland’s total international exports, equating to £880 million in 2018. Italy is one of Scotland’s top 15 priority markets; it is open to new ideas, has similar regulations to the UK and is a country where UK brands are trusted (Trading Nation, 2021). 
Main opportunities have been identified within the following sectors:

• Food & Drink
• Tech and Agri-tech
• Manufacturing - "Scotland" products (provenance)
• Sustainable tourism
• Advanced Manufacturing 
• Textiles

Applications from businesses within other sectors are also encouraged!

About this mission
