The ICCIUK is delighted to promote the launch of Matooro Academy, founded by one of our members and councillors Roberto Costa.
Matooro Academy will train and support young Italians wishing to start their career in the hospitality sector. Thanks to its 6-month intense course, students will have the opportunity to learn the basics of both the "back of house" and "front of house" tasks: the first three months will focus on hotel structure, while the latter three will tackle managerial and administrative aspects.
Thanks to the evening service that will take place in one of the affiliated restaurants, students will also put into practice what they have learned during the day, working alongside professionals in the sector for an average of 40 hours per week.
We are excited to support the launch of the Matooro Academy, which will take place on Tuesday February 22nd at the Consulate General of Italy in London. We are also pleased to extend the invitation to our members and partners working in the hospitality sector.
