The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK in co-operation with Invest Glasgow and in collaboration with the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce has assisted in the production of ‘Investire a Glasgow’ an in-depth study on the investment opportunities that Glasgow can offer .
This report on Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city, is aimed at those Italian companies interested in the UK market and in particular the great opportunities that this bustling City can offer. Glasgow is an economic powerhouse generating nearly £19.3 billion Gross Value Added (GVA) to the nation’s economy every year.

The sixth “Survey of Italian Investments in the UK” has been realized by The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK and it has been presented at the Italian Embassy in London to an audience of important Italian brands, press, institutional and finance representatives.
The study offers a macro perspective and then develops a more detailed focus on the relationship between Italy and the United Kingdom, so as to provide useful indications for making cross-border investment choices, to encourage, and possibly diversify, opportunities for bilateral investment with England. A sectoral study is also inserted into it, through which we have reported the story of illustrious Italian business cases. The aim of the publication is to offer to both countries a further insight into how, over time, investment choices have changed, which roads have followed Italian businesses and, considering global forecasts and trends, on which sectors it would be appropriate to "bet".
